Multiexperience cause a single interaction to trigger multisensory and multitouch interfaces

As per Gartner, by 2021, at least one-third of enterprises will have deployed a multi-experience development platform to support mobile, web, conversational, and augmented reality development.


So, what are we talking about here?


Technology has entrenched us visually, auditorily, perceptually, and cognitively. So what next? Welcome multi-experience whereby a single interaction triggers multisensory and multitouch interfaces (think wearables, sensors.) The layers of human senses the “multi-experience” moves enables it to create a dynamic, richer, and more immersive experience. Whilst the technology is exciting; it still faces privacy and interoperability challenges.


So, whilst we wait for a seamless, collaborative “multi-experience,” let’s work within proprietary ecosystems to get a flavor of the same.
